About Chandresh Kudwa
Chandresh Kudwa is widely regarded as one of India’s foremost guitarists known for his exceptional technique commanding stage presence, and original compositions that blend crushing riffs with lyrical, melodic solos. With a career spanning over three decades, he has been a driving force behind bands such as Freedom and Dream Out Loud, earning respect across the rock and music community.
As a solo artist, Chandresh has released two acclaimed albums—Conqueror and FreeSpirit—along with the EP Through the Noise. His evolution from a pure instrumentalist to a versatile vocalist-guitarist has added a powerful new dimension to his already incendiary guitar work.
His latest project with his daughter, Eva Kudwa, under the banner Dad N’ Daughter, is creating waves globally, showcasing a rare blend of generational chemistry, virtuosity, and contemporary rock energy.
Chandresh has collaborated with internationally renowned artists including Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson), Mattias IA Eklundh (Freak Kitchen) on “The Good Life”, and Gilby Clarke (Guns N’ Roses).
In the film and advertising world, his guitar work has featured alongside legendary composers such as A.R. Rahman, Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy, Amit Trivedi, Sonu Nigam, Mithoon, and Anu Malik, with notable performances on tracks like “Dilli Dilli” (No One Killed Jessica), “Jiya Re” (Jab Tak Hai Jaan), and “Zaroorat” (Aashiqui 2).
